Visionnaire’s accent furniture has an interesting selection of armchairs, perfect for home and office spaces. The Aries armchair designed by Draga & Aurel is created by fashion and design which combines minimal chic and geometric lines, a tribute to the space age experiments of Andre Courreges and Pierre Cardin. The padded part is supported by a shiny metal structure, which continues from the base up to the backrest defining its unique style.
The iconic Mercury seating system was first presented by IPE in both sofa and armchair versions in 1961 at the first edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The Mercury armchair has been reintroduced in a new version by La Conca. It is crafted with stretch fabric, designed to naturally adapt to the body’s shape. The internal structure in solid wood and plywood supports multi-density polyurethane padding topped with an acrylic fiber layer. The base consists of a black steel five-star base with solid wood feet and brass tips. The armchair is available in a range of metal finishes.
The Pavone armchair from Visionnaire is a collaboration with the artist and designer Marc Ange. This armchair in leather or fabric is inspired by the silhouette of a peacock, with a dramatic shell in brass and steel evoking the spread of plumage. The armrest and backrest form a crown of hand-polished cast brass elements, completed by upholstered cushions. The seat and lumbar support are made of multi-density polyurethane with an acrylic fiber layer. It has a chrome-plated metal base and a pedestal wrapped in leather. Metal parts are available in the full range of selected finishes.
The Shibari armchair designed by Studio Pepe for Visionnaire is a small armchair upholstered in stretch fabric. It features a curved tubular metal frame fully padded with high-density expanded polyurethane and covered in fabric. The front and rear legs merge into the backrest, forming an interwoven structural element. The seat, supported by elastic webbing and padded with polyurethane, is also available in a green version with metal spring suspension and plant-based materials.
Complimenting the armchairs, Visionnaire also introduces a striking console and cabinet that will add style to the interiors of living spaces. The Lego console designed by Draga & Aurel is a sculptural console, made of two interlocking volumes which allows three configurations. It’s load-bearing structure is reinforced with concrete and aluminum. Concrete is treated with erosion and matte black color; whereas, the aluminum is hand-polished, pigmented, and sand-cast with an undulating texture. The console is also available in “Marble” version.
The Leonardo low cabinet designed by Alessandro La Spada is a cabinet with four doors, structured in wood with curved polished stainless steel profiles. The base, lower trim, and uprights are clad in concave and convex portions of curved polished stainless steel. Its doors and sides feature “canneté” relief surfaces, available in glossy lacquer, Soft Leather, or Leonardo burl veneer with 100 gloss finish. It comes with a beveled marble top and matte lacquered interiors. The side compartments have optional LED lighting.
