After spending nearly 15 years with the Janata Dal (Secular), Sachin Janardhana resigned from the party’s primary membership in 2024 and later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with several supporters and former Pulikeshinagar MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy.
Sachin, popularly known as SJ among his associates, briefly stepped away from active politics in 2025 citing internal differences. His recent interactions with senior BJP leaders in Karnataka indicate a renewed involvement in political activities.
According to individuals associated with the party’s IT Wing, Sachin has been engaging with organizational teams reviving his old IT Wing team across the state, and is expected to contribute to digital strategy and grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2028 Karnataka Assembly elections.
In the Pulikeshinagar Assembly constituency, party workers say there has been increased political activity in recent months. Local supporters believe his involvement could strengthen the party’s organizational network at the constituency level and his IT Wing is looking forward to strengthen the state’s BJP IT Wing.
As Bengaluru’s political landscape continues to evolve, Sachin Janardhan remains associated with political strategy and organizational mobilization within the Pulikeshinagar Assembly region.
