It was not just a victory that MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina from Ludhiana South Constituency eyed during elections, but her motive was to bring about a positive change in the lives of people through her work. Her commitment to initiate and complete the projects has been exemplary via which she has earned the reputation of being an “Iron Lady”.
The residents of Ludhiana South recently organised a function and honoured her with the title of “Iron Lady” so as to acknowledge her commitment with which that she ensured the completion of projects which were pending for last 3-4 decades.
Some of the projects include completion of the satguru nagar street number 8 and Gurdwara road, construction of public toilet in dental college park, gas connections to the EWS, restarting Suvidha Kender in village Dhandari Kalan, cemented streets in Mauji Colony, distribution of d age, widow pensions.
As promised, the MLA has also started a door-to-door van service for noting down the complaints of the residents. These complaints are resolved at therapists.
MLA Chhina has been elemental in commencement of four Mohalla Clinics which has been the USP of Aam Aadmi Party.
In addition, MLA Chhina has been a true torchbearer of the “Zero Corruption” policy of Aam Aadmi Party. She has repeatedly called upon the people in her constituency to come forward with complaints against corruption ensuring a prompt action against the “guilty”.
