Surat, Gujarat [India]: In a historic announcement made during a press conference held at 7Colours Multi-cuisine Restaurant & Banquets, Shreeji Vatika, Dumas Road, Surat, Bharat Bharti revealed plans for a three-day national-level felicitation festival honouring more than 200 retired soldiers, including 150 soldiers and Veeranganas from 22 states to celebrate Sardar Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary. This three-day mega event will take place from 14th to 16th November 2025 at Greenland Resort, Baleshwar–Palsana, Surat.
National and state leaders of Bharat Bharti – including Vinay Patrale (National Working President), Jagannath Swai (National Coordinator), Rudranarayan Tiwari (National Secretary), Dr. Ravindra Patil (Vice President, Bharat Bharti Gujarat & Former Deputy Mayor of Surat), Gaurang Dhanani, and Surendra Rawat – jointly addressed the media, sharing complete program details. Surendra Rawat efficiently managed the entire hospitality arrangement for the press event.
A Nationwide Movement of Patriotism
Describing the initiative as more than a felicitation ceremony, Bharat Bharti leaders emphasized that the program aims to promote patriotism, valour, life values, and youth inspiration by bringing the experiences of retired soldiers directly to society. A major highlight is the visit of 200 soldiers to over 25 schools and colleges in Surat, where they will interact with students and share real battlefield experiences, discipline, responsibility, and the true meaning of national service.
Honours and Activities
All soldiers from 22 states will receive the “Bharat Gaurav Sanman”, with special recognition also given to their families. The event will feature patriotic cultural programs, food representing 22 states, and direct engagement between soldiers, youth, and society – marking Gujarat’s first event of such scale. Leaders noted that Surat is being positioned as a national hub for patriotic initiatives.
