Mumbai, (Maharashtra) [India], 18th August 2026: SIFL, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and national service, proudly supported Shri Sanmukha’s ‘Shaurya Ratna – Saluting and Honouring the Real Heroes’, a special initiative organised today to commemorate our 80th Independence Day and pay tribute to the brave soldiers who served the nation with valour until their last breath.
As part of this initiative, SIFL actively contributed to honouring fallen heroes who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. This contribution, extended directly to the next of kin, serves as a solemn gesture of our deepest gratitude and enduring solidarity with the families of our brave soldiers. The event also honoured the families of the martyrs with mementoes, recognising their courage, resilience and invaluable sacrifice for our motherland.
Commenting on the initiative, Shri Hardayal Prasad, Managing Director & CEO, SIFL said: “The courage and sacrifice of our Braveheart’s can never be repaid. Through our support for ShauryaRatna, we humbly stand with their families and reaffirm our gratitude to the real heroes who safeguard our nation’s freedom.”
The event brought together dignitaries, armed forces representatives, families of the Martyrs and members of the community to celebrate and honour the extraordinary legacy of the Indian defence forces.
