Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 6, 2023: The much-awaited Taiwan Expo India 2023 has an interesting way to highlight Taiwan’s commitment and focus towards sustainability and green initiatives with their ‘Net-Zero Pavilion’. This pavilion curated exclusively as a separate attraction this year, is centered around, Smart Vehicles, Environmental Equipment and Circular Regeneration and showcases Taiwan’s commitment to addressing carbon emissions and building a sustainable future.
The pavilion exhibits various green products, including 9-meter high floor electric bus with a patented liquid-cooling battery system for high-temperature endurance, 12-meter intercity electric bus that can rapidly charge from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes, an electric Tuk Tuk equipped with built-in Al motor controller, a hydrogen-powered Tuk Tuk with a quick-change fuel cell capability within 30 seconds, wastewater treatment equipment utilizing bio-carriers and photocatalytic technology, and environmentally-friendly paper straws in line with forest conservation.The objective isto foster collaboration between enterprises from Taiwan and India, jointly working toward the goal of low-carbon transformation and the realization of a sustainable future.

CHUNG-HSIN ELECTRIC & MACHINERY MFG. CORP: With 15 years of experience in new energy research and development, Chung Hsin Electric has utilized its unique fuel cell system integration technology to introduce two major series of hydrogen-powered products: ‘Lightweight Hydrogen Vehicles’ and ‘Power Generation.’ The company offers comprehensive solutions that are safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly. The exhibited product features a hydrogen-powered three-wheeled vehicle that employs secure low-pressure hydrogen storage technology enabling a quick fuel cell replacement within 30 seconds for efficient refueling.
IMEIER GREEN TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.: They specialize in integrating motors, controllers, and battery management systems. They’ve developed key technologies including built-in Al control algorithm technology (AIMTRON) motor controller and electric differential gear system for e Tuk Tuk & 3-wheelers, enhancing motor performance. They’re launching a high-performance electric auto rickshaw for the first time in the Indian market, demonstrating their expertise in electric vehicle product development.
MASTER TRANSPORTATION BUS MANUFACTURING LTD.They are an electric bus manufacturer with self-developed design capabilities. They utilize a fast-charging system that can charge from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes, accumulating over 500 kilometers of daily driving mileage. Their 12-meter electric intercity bus showcased in this exhibition employs the safest Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) battery, with a battery lifespan of over 20,000 charge-discharge cycles. Beyond powering the vehicle for more than 10 years, the battery can be repurposed as an energy storage unit for over 10 years after the vehicle’s retirement.
TWIN GREEN TECH & TAITRON ENERGY INTERNATIONAL: TRON E possesses over a decade of experience in battery materials and battery research and development teams. They are dedicated to the development and manufacturing of battery systems. Their 9-meter high-floor electric bus, featuring a patented liquid-cooled battery system resistant to high temperatures, as well as smart and safe assisted driving and big data cloud fleet management system, offers customers customized solutions that combine energy efficiency and reliability.
EVER-CLEAR ENVIRONMENTAL ENG. CORP.: They specialize in producing wastewater treatment equipment. They design equipment based on customer requirements and provide installation services. With years of presence in India, the company received the “Annual Most Promising Water Technology Award” from the Indian magazine Water Digest in March 2023. Featured in this exhibition are user-friendly and easy-to-install products such as the EColos® bio-carrier for water purification and the Phooxid® photocatalytic wastewater treatment technology.
CHIEN FA PAPER PIPE CO., LTD.: They have over 30 years of expertise in paper tube production. They specialize in custom manufacturing paper straws of various sizes, food container packaging tubes, and a range of micro paper tubes. They have acquired the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, marking them as environmentally friendly products. In the expo, they present environmentally conscious FSC-certified paper straws manufactured in Taiwan. These straws utilize patented tube rolling technology and offer the option for customized printing on straw paper sleeves, ensuring they meet customer demands.
The Taiwan Expo India 2023 was inaugurated by James C.F Huang, Chairman, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) at a glistering opening ceremony alongside other Taiwan Excellence dignitaries, Mr. Homer Chang, Director General, Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) and Mr. Keven Cheng, Deputy Executive Director, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). Organized by International Trade Administration (TITA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan Expo is its flagship exhibition to fortify the ties between Taiwan and the ASEAN countries including India.
