New Delhi: Rashtriya Cricket League (RCL) received encouragement from distinguished personalities representing social, cultural and public life with Shri Kapil Khanna, VHP leader, attending the event alongside Shri Pradeep Gandhi and Shri Danish Ali, former Member of Parliament.
The presence of the eminent guests added significance to the occasion which brought together cricket enthusiasts, public figures and supporters of social welfare around a shared vision of using sport for a greater cause.
The dignitaries appreciated the initiative of RCL founder Arvind Kumar, who has sought to create a platform where cricket goes beyond competition and contributes to humanitarian service through the mission of Hunger Free Bharat.
Shri Kapil Khanna appreciated the league’s emphasis on social responsibility and the importance of bringing people together around a common purpose. He observed that initiatives combining sports with service can help strengthen community bonds and encourage people to participate in constructive social activities.
Shri Pradeep Gandhi former MP lauded the effort to use the popularity of cricket to spread awareness about social causes. He emphasised the value of collective participation and community-driven initiatives in addressing challenges faced by society.
Shri Danish Ali, former MP, appreciated the inclusive nature of the initiative and the ability of sports to connect people from different backgrounds. He highlighted the importance of encouraging such platforms, which use public participation and collective enthusiasm to promote a positive message.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Kumar thanked all three dignitaries for their presence, encouragement and support. He said that the vision behind RCL was to build a movement in which sporting passion translates into meaningful action for society.
“Cricket connects millions of hearts. If the same passion can inspire people to care for those in need, feed the hungry and support humanitarian causes, then the game achieves a purpose far greater than the result on the scoreboard,” Arvind Kumar said.
The event reflected the growing potential of sports-led initiatives to encourage social awareness, solidarity and public participation. Through RCL and Hunger Free Bharat, the organisers aim to strengthen the connection between sporting excellence and service to humanity.
